Coffee Mug with a Message
A mug is something you reach for every day. Why not make it your own?
In this workshop, you'll create a ceramic coffee mug with a word or message that means something to you—something that makes your morning coffee a little better.
We'll use slab building, PVC pipes to shape the form, coiling, stamps, carving, and other simple hand-building techniques to bring your mug to life. You'll also make and attach your own handle before your piece is glazed and fired.
Whether you've never touched clay before or already enjoy working with it, you're very welcome. Come spend a few hours making something you'll use every day.
